Shraddha Kapoor’s upcoming biographical drama Eetha is reportedly set to get a new theatrical release date, with the makers looking to avoid a direct box office clash with Yash’s much-anticipated action film Toxic.

While the film was earlier scheduled to hit cinemas on August 28, reports suggest that the release plan is now being reconsidered.

Makers evaluating a new release window

According to Bollywood Hungama, the producers are exploring alternative release dates instead of sticking to the previously announced schedule. Although no official confirmation has been made, the report states that the makers are keen to ensure the film gets a favourable release window and enough screens across the country.

The move is believed to be a strategic decision, as Toxic is expected to be one of the biggest theatrical releases of the year. Industry experts feel that avoiding a clash would allow both films to perform better at the box office.
