IPL’s commercial growth shows no signs of slowing

The report states that the IPL’s enterprise value has increased by 11.4 per cent over the past year, marking another year of strong double-digit growth. The league’s standalone brand value has also risen by 10.3 per cent to $4.3 billion.

It added that recent investments in franchises such as RCB and Rajasthan Royals reflect growing confidence among investors. Higher media rights revenues, sponsorship deals, merchandising and expanding global interest continue to drive the league’s financial growth.

Houlihan Lokey noted that the IPL has evolved into one of the world’s most successful sports leagues by combining cricket, entertainment and business. With rising franchise valuations, stable revenue streams and increasing institutional investment, the tournament continues to strengthen its position as one of the most valuable sporting properties globally.
