‘Pagal ho gaye ho?’ Salman Khan loses cool at paparazzi outside Mumbai hospital

Actor Salman Khan recently grabbed attention after videos of him confronting paparazzi outside Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital surfaced on Instagram. The incident quickly went viral and sparked conversations about celebrity privacy and the behaviour of photographers during sensitive situations.

According to reports of Hindustan Times, Salman Khan had visited the hospital for a personal reason when paparazzi began following him and calling out to him outside the premises. Videos circulating online showed photographers repeatedly trying to get the actor’s attention while recording him near the hospital entrance.

What happened outside the hospital

In the viral clips on Instagram, Salman Khan appeared visibly upset with the paparazzi gathered outside the hospital. As photographers continued shouting “Bhai, bhai, Maatrubhumi”, referring to his upcoming film, the actor lost his patience and confronted them directly.

Salman was heard asking, “Pagal ho gaye ho?” while expressing his frustration over being followed during a hospital visit. The actor also questioned the photographers about how they would feel if one of their own family members were admitted to a hospital while cameras surrounded them outside.

The exchange quickly gained traction online, with several social media pages sharing the videos widely. In some Instagram clips, photographers were also heard apologising to Salman after the confrontation.

Actor later reacts on social media

Soon after the incident, Salman Khan addressed the matter through a series of posts on Instagram. The actor criticised the lack of sensitivity shown during emotionally difficult moments and accused some photographers of prioritising content over basic human understanding.

In one of his posts, Salman also warned photographers against crossing personal boundaries. He wrote, “Saath saal ka ho gaya hoon lekin ladna nahiin bhoola yeh yaad rakh lena.”

The statement rapidly spread across social media platforms, with fans and followers debating the growing pressure celebrities face in public spaces.

The actor’s reaction drew mixed responses online. While many users supported Salman Khan and called for more respectful paparazzi behaviour, others discussed the increasing relationship between celebrity culture and constant public attention.

Concerns around celebrity privacy

The incident has once again brought attention to the issue of privacy for public figures, especially during medical emergencies or personal situations. In recent years, several actors and celebrities have spoken about invasive paparazzi culture and the pressure of being constantly photographed in public.

Hospitals are generally considered sensitive spaces where privacy and calm are expected. Many social media users pointed out that following celebrities during hospital visits can become uncomfortable and emotionally distressing for both the individual and their family members.

Reports of Hindustan Times stated that it remains unclear whom Salman Khan had gone to visit at the hospital. However, the actor’s strong reaction has once again triggered conversations around balancing media coverage with personal boundaries.

The viral incident continues to receive widespread attention online, with fans, photographers, and entertainment followers debating where the line should be drawn between celebrity coverage and respecting private moments.
