Bollywood star Aamir Khan is reportedly preparing to begin a new chapter in his personal life. According to reports, the actor and his partner Gauri Spratt are set to get married on July 5 in a private ceremony attended by close family members and friends. The couple, who publicly confirmed their relationship last year, are said to have chosen a simple celebration over a lavish wedding event.
The development comes more than a year after Aamir introduced Gauri to the media during his 60th birthday celebrations in 2025, revealing that the two had already been together for some time.
A quiet celebration instead of a grand reception
According to a report by Hauterrfly, the couple are expected to formalise their relationship through a small signing ceremony rather than a traditional star-studded wedding.

A source quoted by the publication claimed that Aamir and Gauri have been living together as a family for over a year and felt it was the right time to officially mark their relationship in the presence of loved ones. The reported decision reflects the couple’s preference for privacy, something both have largely maintained despite growing public interest in their relationship.
A friendship that turned into love
Aamir and Gauri’s relationship has attracted attention because of their long history together. The two reportedly knew each other for nearly 25 years before their friendship evolved into a romantic relationship. Gauri, who is the mother of a young son, has frequently been seen accompanying the actor at public events since their relationship became official.
Their appearances together have gradually made Gauri a familiar face among Aamir’s fans, even though she has largely remained away from the entertainment industry spotlight.
Aamir speaks about finding happiness again
In recent interviews, Aamir has spoken candidly about the role Gauri has played in his life. Speaking to Navbharat Times earlier this year, the actor described himself as fortunate to have found happiness and peace in the relationship.
“I am very fortunate that I met Gauri. We are very happy together,” he said, adding that he felt a sense of completeness after finding companionship with her.
The actor also acknowledged his past relationships with former wives Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao, describing both as meaningful chapters in his life despite their eventual separation.

Aamir was married to producer Reena Dutta from 1986 to 2002. The former couple share two children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005. Although the couple announced their separation in 2021, they continue to co-parent their son, Azad.
If reports prove accurate, the upcoming wedding will mark Aamir’s third marriage and the beginning of a new personal chapter for one of Bollywood’s most celebrated actors. Neither Aamir Khan nor Gauri Spratt has officially confirmed the wedding reports so far.
