Centre releases 23rd installment of PM-KISAN scheme: Check payment status online

The Centre has released the 23rd PM-KISAN installment, transferring ₹2,000 directly to the bank accounts of over 9.44 crore eligible farmers.

Centre releases 23rd installment of PM-KISAN scheme: Check payment status online

The Central Government released the 23rd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme on Friday. Over 9 crore farmers are set to receive ₹ 2000 directly into their bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi rolled out the latest installment of the PM-KISAN scheme during an event in Tarakeswar, Hooghly district of West Bengal on June 20. This Central Government scheme provides ₹ 6000 annually to landowning farmer families across India. The amount is divided into three equal payments of ₹ 2000 each and gets transferred directly into their bank accounts. The previous installment was released by PM Modi on March 13, 2026 in Guwahati.

Farmers can check payment details, eligibility status , Aadhar linkage and e-KYC status by visiting the official PM-KISAN portal at pmkisan.gov.in.

Visit the official PM-KISAN portal at pmkisan.gov.in.

Look for the “Farmer’s Corner”.

Click on the “Know Your Status” option.

Enter your registration number and the security code.

Enter the OTP sent to the registered number to view the beneficiary status.

Look for the “Farmer’s Corner”.

Click on the “Status of Self-Registered Farmer/ CSC Farmers”.

Enter the Aadhar number and security code to view the status.
