The traffic department of Delhi police has advised people to refrain from traveling in the area around central Delhi as much as they can until August 13, saying that all the traffic restrictions put in place during the Monsoon Session of Parliament and CJP’s protest would be operational till the end of the session.
The advisory follows severe traffic congestion witnessed on Monday, when the CJP’s ‘Chalo Sansad’ march and heightened security arrangements led to long traffic snarls across key stretches of the national capital.

According to the Delhi Traffic Police advisory, commuters should avoid several major roads surrounding Parliament House and India Gate, including:

Traffic disruptions continue around Parliament
Monday witnessed widespread congestion across central Delhi after heavy barricading and security checks slowed vehicular movement.
The worst-affected stretches included roads leading to India Gate, ITO, Vikas Marg, and the corridor connecting Sarai Kale Khan to ITO, where commuters reported bumper-to-bumper traffic for extended periods.
