Army clears new optical sight for Negev machine guns

Technology transfer supports domestic capability
Under the arrangement, the technology required to manufacture the telescopic sights will be transferred for local production. This is expected to reduce dependence on imports while helping build expertise within India’s defence manufacturing ecosystem.
