Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday night posted a second Instagram reel within 24 hours of his earlier message on examination paper leaks, thanking young viewers for watching the video and sending suggestions.
The new reel came after his previous post on anti-paper leak measures crossed 303 million views, which set a new world record on the platform.
The short reel was posted on Modi’s official Instagram account, @narendramodi, and arrived as the debate over NEET and other paper leak cases continued across the country.

Modi responds to viral public reaction
In the new reel, the Prime Minister directly acknowledged the response to his earlier message.
The caption on the post read, “Thanks to the youngsters who watched my video yesterday and sent insightful suggestions.”
In the video itself, Modi said, ‘Thank you, friends. I had the opportunity to meet you late last night. I appreciate the way you responded to my video and your positive suggestions. Thanks to everyone who watched it and gave their inputs.”
Focus returns to the paper leak debate
The latest reel followed Modi’s previous message, posted on July 23, in which he addressed the paper leak controversy and said the government had taken steps over the past two and a half months.
He said, “Friends, I know that paper leaks are not an ordinary matter. For lakhs of students and their parents, it is extremely painful.”
He added that those responsible had been arrested, around 22 lakh students were able to retake examinations, and departments had been directed to prepare provisions for fast-track courts and stricter punishment.
A remarkable tally, no less
The latest reel did not announce any fresh measures, but it came at a time when protests over alleged NEET-UG irregularities continued in parts of the country and student groups sought accountability from the testing authorities.
The earlier video also helped Modi gain nearly one million new Instagram followers overnight, while the reel itself surpassed the previous platform record of 300 million views held by a BTS-related IShowSpeed post during the FIFA World Cup.
The original clip had drawn more than 16 million likes and 1.5 million comments, underscoring the unusually large response to the Prime Minister’s social media outreach on exam reforms.
