India’s ODI series against England has concluded, and the team will now turn its attention to a busy white-ball schedule. While the Men in Blue will first play a T20I series against Zimbabwe, their next ODI assignment will be a home series against the West Indies.

The three-match ODI series against the Caribbean side is scheduled to begin in late September. It will be India’s first 50-over series after the England tour and an important opportunity to prepare for the 2027 ODI World Cup.

India to host West Indies in September

India will host the West Indies from September 27 to October 17, with the tour featuring three ODIs and five T20Is. The ODI series will help the team management assess combinations while giving key players valuable game time ahead of a packed international season.

The series is expected to feature several established stars along with a few young players looking to cement their place in the ODI setup.

New Zealand and Sri Lanka complete ODI calendar

After the West Indies series, India will travel to New Zealand for a major white-ball tour from October 22 to December 1. The tour includes five ODIs, making it India’s longest ODI assignment of the year and a crucial overseas challenge.

India will then return home to host Sri Lanka in December. The bilateral series will consist of three ODIs and three T20Is, bringing India’s ODI calendar for the year to a close before preparations begin for upcoming ICC tournaments.
