Joining the headline acts are Nigerian Grammy winner Burna Boy and renowned conductor Gustavo Dudamel, who will lead musicians from the New York Philharmonic and Venezuela’s Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra. The popular PS 22 Chorus from New York City will also perform alongside Coldplay, while Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and several other Muppets are set to make special appearances.
FIFA has confirmed that the halftime show will last 11 minutes, with organisers aiming to keep the total halftime interval below 20 minutes.

Many fans have confused the halftime show with the tournament’s closing ceremony, but the two events are separate.
The closing ceremony takes place before kick-off and features performers including Post Malone, Robbie Williams, Laura Pausini and Nicole Scherzinger, alongside a special appearance from Hollywood actor Tom Cruise and YouTube creator IShowSpeed.
During the FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show at MetLife Stadium, global K-pop icons BTS delivered an electrifying performance of their smash hit “Dynamite.” Popular internet streamer IShowSpeed was at the stadium after performing his own track during the pre-match closing ceremonies. Watching BTS from the stands, he recorded an explosive, high-energy live reaction. True to his signature style, the clip featured chaotic screaming and intense dancing, which quickly went viral across TikTok and Instagram. This moment follows a trend of Speed supporting the group, as he previously went viral for passionately singing along to Jungkook’s anthem “Dreamers.”
