Vaibhav turns stellar season into massive rewards
Vaibhav enjoyed a breakthrough campaign and emerged as the face of IPL 2026. His fearless batting, consistency at the top of the order and ability to change games single-handedly helped him collect some of the biggest awards of the season.
The youngster claimed the Orange Cap as the tournament’s leading run-scorer, earning ₹10 lakh. He added another ₹10 lakh after being named Emerging Player of the Season, underlining his remarkable rise in the league.
Vaibhav’s power-hitting also brought rich rewards. He secured the Most Sixes award, worth ₹10 lakh, after clearing the ropes more than any other batter during the tournament. His aggressive approach further earned him the Super Striker of the Season honour, which came with a Tata Sierra EV.
The biggest recognition arrived in the form of the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award. For his all-round impact throughout the season, Vaibhav received ₹15 lakh, taking his total cash earnings from IPL 2026 awards to ₹45 lakh, in addition to the Tata Sierra EV.
Rabada shines among bowlers
While Vaibhav dominated the headlines, Kagiso Rabada finished as the season’s leading wicket-taker. The South African pacer claimed the Purple Cap after producing match-winning spells throughout the tournament and once again established himself as one of the most reliable bowlers in T20 cricket.
