From Shah Rukh Khan to Madhuri Dixit: Electric cars celebrities drive and you can too

Electric vehicles are steadily becoming a mainstream choice in India, driven by growing environmental awareness, improving charging infrastructure and advances in battery technology. The trend is not limited to everyday consumers. Several celebrities have also added electric vehicles to their garages, helping bring greater visibility to sustainable mobility.

Interestingly, not all celebrity-owned EVs are ultra-expensive luxury models. Some stars have chosen practical and relatively affordable electric cars that are within reach of a wider audience. On World Environment Day, here is a look at five electric vehicles favoured by celebrities that are also available in the Indian market.
