The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the NEET UG 2026 re-examination results late Thursday night, with 11,21,185 candidates qualifying for admission to undergraduate medical, dental, AYUSH, and other allied courses across the country.
The counselling process is set to begin as scheduled, and state-wise data shows Uttar Pradesh recorded the highest number of qualified candidates, followed by Rajasthan and Maharashtra.
Nearly 20 lakh students had appeared for the re-exam, which was held on June 21 across 5,440 centres in 551 cities in India and 14 cities abroad, conducted in 13 languages. Notably, women outperformed men in the results, making up more than 58 per cent of all qualified candidates.
