Why did Rahul Gandhi mention Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai?
While addressing a gathering during the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Prayagraj, Rahul Gandhi criticised the guest list at the Ram Temple ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony held in Ayodhya on January 22.

According to reports, Gandhi questioned the representation of Other Backward Classes (OBCs), Dalits and other backward communities at the event. During his speech, he referred to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan while making his argument about social representation.
The Congress leader alleged that communities comprising a large section of India’s population were not adequately represented during the ceremony.
