Air India has denied social media claims that it has suspended all international flights until July 2026.
The airline said the rumor was false. The social media posts triggered confusion among travelers, but the airline said there has been no blanket cancellation of its overseas network.

Airline calls viral suspension claim ‘completely false’
Air India issued its clarification on X and described the claim as “malicious” and “completely false.”
The airline said its international operations remain “fully functional” and urged passengers not to rely on unverified posts circulating online. It also advised travelers to check only the carrier’s website and verified social media handles for updates on schedules and advisories.

Route adjustments sparked confusion over global operations
The confusion appears to have grown out of separate reports that Air India was reducing some international operations through June and July 2026 because of rising operating costs, airspace restrictions linked to the West Asia conflict, and pressure on profitability.
GoodReturns said the airline is still flying to major destinations across Europe, North America, Australia, and Asia, although some routes have seen lower frequencies and timetable changes.
The reduction was described as partial, not a shutdown of international services.

Carrier urges passengers to follow verified updates only
Air India’s clarification comes as the airline tries to contain misinformation around its flight network and keep passengers aligned with official notices.
The carrier said any genuine service changes will be communicated only through authorized platforms and warned users against forwarding rumors that could create unnecessary panic.
