A viral image claiming to show a NEET question paper has reignited concerns over examination security on social media, prompting an official response from the National Testing Agency (NTA).
The controversy surfaced after an X user, Bibin (@bibinbaiju), shared a screenshot that was allegedly obtained from a Telegram group. Alongside the image, the user posted, “Got this from a telegram group, is #NEET paper leaked again ???”
The post quickly spread across social media platforms, with many users questioning whether the image pointed to another possible paper leak involving the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).

What the viral image showed
The screenshot appears to feature an English-language examination booklet carrying the code “23.” The first page reportedly contains 18 examination instructions and mentions that the booklet consists of 32 pages, including rough work sheets.

The booklet also displays a warning instructing candidates not to open the question paper until directed by invigilators. According to the screenshot, the document was allegedly shared in a Telegram group named “Proofs/Price.”

As the image gained traction online, several users claimed that the format closely resembled an actual NEET question paper, fueling speculation and debate.
NTA issues clarification
Responding directly to the viral post, the National Testing Agency dismissed the claims and urged people not to circulate the image.
“This is fake…Please dont circulate..Matter being reported to CyberCrime,” the agency wrote on X.

The statement came amid growing discussions online over the authenticity of the circulated booklet.

Social media reacts
The viral post drew a wide range of responses from users. One user jokingly commented, “Bhai telegram ka link bhej do..” Another wrote, “Everything is perfect see the timing and the number of question I think the neet paper leaked.”
Urging caution, a third user posted, “gumraah! leak hoga bhi, no chance this time, there is nothing you can do! and dont trust jo QR code ko blur krde,”
Meanwhile, another user remarked, “Send me the pdf I’ll check it ”
Some users were unconvinced by the claims. One person simply wrote, “Old NEET paper.”
The discussion intensified further after another image allegedly linked to the examination began circulating online. Sharing the image, an X user wrote, “This photo is also surfacing on internet..nta should answer.”
While debate continues online, the NTA has maintained that the circulated material is fake and said the matter has been reported to Cybercrime authorities for investigation.
