The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has released a detailed advisory for people planning to participate in its protest at Jantar Mantar on June 6, urging supporters to remain peaceful, organised and respectful throughout the demonstration.
The protest has been called to demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over a series of examination-related controversies that have sparked debate among students and parents across the country.
Party founder Abhijeet Dipke, who announced that he is travelling to India for the event, has asked supporters not to gather at Delhi airport and instead assemble directly at the designated protest venue.

What does the CJP want participants to do?
According to the party’s advisory, supporters have been asked to reach Parliament Street Police Station near Jantar Mantar at 9 am on June 6. Participants are encouraged to carry the national flag and a book as symbols of their support for education and equal opportunity.
The party has also urged people to document the event responsibly by recording proceedings peacefully. Protesters have been advised to immediately inform the police if they witness any suspicious activity or disruptive behaviour.
Given the summer conditions in Delhi, the organisation has placed considerable emphasis on safety and preparedness. Participants have been advised to stay hydrated, apply sunscreen, wear caps and take precautions against the heat while attending the demonstration.

What have participants been told to avoid?
The party has also issued a list of actions it wants supporters to refrain from during the protest.
It has advised participants not to attend alone if possible, encouraging them to arrive with friends, family members or fellow supporters. According to the party, larger groups can help maintain solidarity and ensure safety.
Supporters have also been asked not to throw flowers during the protest. Instead, the party suggested offering flowers respectfully to police personnel as a gesture of appreciation.

Education concerns at the centre of protest
The June 6 demonstration marks the first major on-ground mobilisation by the satirical political outfit, which has gained significant attention online in recent months.
CJP leaders say the protest is focused on concerns surrounding examination management, student anxiety and accountability in the education system. Party representatives have described the gathering as an open platform for students, parents and citizens, regardless of their political affiliations, to express concerns about issues affecting the country’s education sector.
