Speaking in the pre match press conference, Oscar Bruzon, the coach of East Bengal, said that they are only looking forward to taking one match at a time and looking forward to taking on the next opponent. He also alleged taking a few ex-player names that they are “broker” and “cancer” for the team.

Oscar also discussed about their magic player Vishnu who is playing in a very different role in the season and emphasised on the versatility of East Bengal saying that every match is very different from another and they are having a team who has their own characteristics

The Effiong battle
Commenting on the challenges, they might have to face because of Effiong, who has scored 8 goals this season, Bruzon said that Effiong can score goals from any half-chances. The red and yellow brigade is very much aware of its challenges.
