Is Apple finally launching a foldable iPhone?

According to Bloomberg, Apple’s first foldable iPhone is expected to debut alongside the iPhone 18 Pro lineup.

The foldable model is reportedly powered by Apple’s A20 Pro chip and will mark the company’s entry into the foldable smartphone segment. Bloomberg had earlier reported that Apple is already planning a second-generation foldable model for late 2027, indicating that foldables could become a regular part of its product portfolio.

The report also says Apple is working on redesigned anniversary iPhones, internally codenamed V73 and V74, expected to arrive in late 2027. These devices are said to feature nearly edge-to-edge displays with curved glass and run on Apple’s next-generation 2-nanometre A21 processor.

AI AirPods and smart glasses also in development

Bloomberg reported that Apple is developing camera-equipped AirPods designed to enhance Siri by providing visual context rather than capturing photos or videos.

The cameras would reportedly help Siri identify objects and answer questions about a user’s surroundings. The product, internally codenamed B798, has reportedly been delayed because of Apple’s ongoing work on artificial intelligence software.

The company is also said to be exploring AI-powered smart glasses and wearable devices that could arrive as early as 2027.
